Sure, you say you're thankful Tiger Woods is back in your life, playing competitive golf and threatening to win golf tournaments. But what have you done to express your gratitude?
Probably nothing. Typical selfish fans just sitting back and enjoying the show.
Well the same can't be said for Twitter user "claire rOGers" (@rog_royers), who was so excited by Woods' first-round 68 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational a week after his second-place finish at the Valspar that she took it upon herself to send an Edible Arrangement to the 14-time major winner's back doctor, Richard Guyer:
Tiger’s suregon deserves the WORLD so I had to send him a little snack pic.twitter.com/UYnMqDoIvZ— claire rOGers (@rog_royers) March 15, 2018
The fan also included the message, "Dr. Guyer - THANK you for making TIGER WOODS great again!! Sincerely, a loyal fan."
The fruit basket is scheduled to arrive on Friday at the Texas Back Institute, where Woods had a "minimally invasive" anterior lumbar interbody fusion between his L5 and S1 vertebrae last April. It was Woods' fourth back surgery since 2014.
