Understanding the swing plane is a concept that isn’t easy to grasp for many golfers.

But having a swing that stays on plane is the surest way to create speed and solid contact in your golf swing.

Travis is having some problems achieving consistency with his ball-striking, and as SwingFix instructor Erik Horve shows him in this swing analysis, one reason for that is because his takeaway gets the club working well underneath the swing plane and he ends up out of position at the top of his swing.
