For the first time since he sprained his right knee prior to the season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions Lucas Glover has walked two consecutive rounds and is poised to come off the DL at next week’s Transitions Championship.

Glover played in the annual Seminole Golf Club Pro-Member on Monday, a day after walking a practice round on the Donald Ross-designed layout.

Glover considered playing this week’s Puerto Rico Open but decided to give his knee, which he injured when he slipped off a paddle board in Hawaii, a little more time to heal. He said the knee is stable during the swing and held up well at Seminole.

“It feels good,” Glover said. “I need to (play) again. I’ve been going crazy just waiting around.”
