PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Before Matt Kuchar’s third round at TPC Sawgrass on Saturday he had an even more challenging match to contend with – a doubles tennis bout teamed with his wife, Sybi, against his father and a family friend.
According to Peter Kuchar it wasn’t even close, “They killed us,” he smiled.
It should be pointed out that Matt Kuchar was a solid junior tennis player before taking up golf full time and Sybi played college tennis at Georgia Tech, where the two met.
“We’ll get them (Sunday),” Peter Kuchar smiled. “They will be over confident.
