No one can ever question how much Denver Broncos tight end Jeff Heuerman loves his fiancée, Hannah. After all, it’s in writing.
Heuerman, 25, signed a contract with his fiancée last week, in which he vowed to not buy a new driver for five years because, “I love her more than I will ever love golf” and “I will work on coming to terms with the fact that buying more expensive golf clubs/drivers/shafts has not, and will not, make me a better golfer.”
Here’s to hoping the former national champion at Ohio State invests in some lessons, because who knows how far people will be hitting the ball five years from now with new technology? 600 yards? 800 yards? 1,000 yards? It’s anyone’s guess, really.
Maybe Heuerman can pick up a few strokes on the greens.
