KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – If you’re wondering what Tiger Woods’ 3-under-par 69 to open the PGA Championship Thursday may mean come Sunday, here’s his history in his 14 major championship victories:

Notably, he opened with 1-over-par scores in his last two major championship victories. He was 23rd after the first round of the ’07 PGA and 19th after the first round of the ’08 U.S. Open.
