KOHLER, Wis. – Rolex world No. 1 Yani Tseng needs a strong weekend rally if she’s going to make a run at claiming the career grand slam at just 23 with her first U.S. Women’s Open victory.
With an even-par 72 Friday at Blackwolf Run, Tseng moved to 2 over, seven shots off the lead.
“Still not far back,” Tseng said. “Tomorrow is going to be good, so I’m excited about that.”
Tseng is expecting a tougher weekend setup that could help players make strong moves with low scores.
