AUGUSTA, Ga. – A storm rolled through the area last night dumping 1 ¾ inches of rain on the golf course and delaying the opening of the gates on Wednesday.

Officials were still assessing the damage and pushed back the course opening until 8:30 a.m. (ET).

Although there are no reports of damage on the course, several trees in the parking lot adjacent the club had fallen during the storm.
