The World Golf Hall of Fame announced the finalists for its Class of 2027 on Monday, including Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Inbee Park and Jim Nantz, who have all been nominated for the first time.
“This distinguished group deserves recognition for the lasting impact they made on the sport in their own way as competitors, teachers, architects, broadcasters and innovators,” Mike Trostel, director of the World Golf Hall of Fame, said.
The 14 finalists are broken into four categories: male competitors, female competitors, historic players and amateurs and contributors. The Class of 2027 inductees will be announced in December, prior to the official Hall of Fame ceremony next July.
