Well, Big Break Atlantis is over, and the victor has been crowned. Congratulations to Marcela on her great win! My favorite interview with Marcela was right after the win, on the 14th green when she released all the emotion she’d kept buried for two weeks of competition. Selanee came up short at the end, but hopefully the confidence she’s gained throughout the season will translate into success on the Symetra tour.
The three weeks we spend on Paradise Island back in January are a blur in the rear view mirror, and tomorrow we’ll all be working on the Big Break Atlantis Reunion show that airs next Monday, July 30 at 9 PM ET. Before I go, I do want to take the opportunity to thank the dedicated, hard-working crew that works on Big Break each season. The show is a lot of fun to work on and a lot of these folks have been on our crew for years. We put in some long hours on the shoot though, in a wide variety of challenging weather conditions, and we rely on these ladies and gents to make the show a success.
