ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The McGladrey Classic will be Matt Kuchar’s final event of 2010 and he’s certainly earned an extended off-season. He’s played 25 events and earned a PGA Tour-leading $4.88 million.
The money title, however, is far from locked up. Jim Furyk, No. 2 in earnings about $80,000 behind Kuchar, will likely play next week in Las Vegas, an event he has won before.
“I planned to make this my last event either way,” Kuchar said on Friday at Sea Island. “I see no incentive to winning the money title.”
