Levet would jump again despite breaking leg last year

Reigning French Open champion Thomas Levet has not learned his lesson. A year after breaking his leg in a celebratory jump into the pond guarding the 18th hole at Le Golf National in Paris, Levet would do it again this year.
"I hope I go in again," Levet said Wednesday in Paris, according to Sky Sports. "It means I won the tournament."
The jump resulted in a leg fracture, forcing Levet out of action until September, including missing the British Open.
The Frenchman's exuberant celebratory came after finally winning his national championship following 25 years of trying. He joined 2004 and '05 winner Jean-Francois Remesy as the only Frenchmen to win the tournament since 1969.
Levet is grouped with Justin Rose and Ian Poulter for the first two days of the tournament.
