A Chicago-area man was arrested Monday morning after attempting to bring a concealed firearm with him into the final round of the BMW Championship, according to a CBS Chicago report.

Authorities arrested 48-year-old Mark Fedder shortly after spectator gates opened at 7 a.m. CT Monday at Conway Farms Golf Club. Due to heavy rains the day prior, the final round was suspended and resumed at 8 a.m. local time Monday.

According to the report, a police discovered two more guns in Fedder’s trunk upon searching his car. It has not yet been decided whether he will face felony charges for the incident.

Though the state of Illinois recently passed a law allowing for concealed carry permits, none have yet been issued as police reportedly continue to hammer out details surrounding the training and instruction that will be required before an individual can receive such a permit.
