The 20th Solheim Cup is tied 4-4 after the first day of competition at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands.
Foursomes will again kick off play on Saturday, and you-know-who is together again.
Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz made Solheim Cup history Friday morning by becoming the first American partnership to achieve a 5-0 record. They will look to stay perfect against Maja Stark and Linn Grant.
Stark and Grant also won their opening alternate-shot match.
The duo they beat, Rose Zhang and Jennifer Kupcho, will give it another try Saturday. In fact, U.S. captain Angela Stanford’s four pairings are nearly identical to those from Day 1. The only difference is Auston Kim replacing Lindy Duncan as Andrea Lee’s partner.
As for the Euros, captain Anna Nordqvist is keeping together three of her original foursomes teams. The difference is Mimi Rhodes and Natasia Nadaud in place of Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Celine Boutier.
Rhodes and Nadaud, both rookies, teamed for a Friday fourballs victory. Koerstz Madsen and Boutier went 0-2.
