International team carries one point lead into final day of Arnold Palmer Cup

Highlights, Arnold Palmer Cup 2026: Day 2 foursomes
Highlights from Day 2 foursomes in the 30th Arnold Palmer Cup at Tralee Golf Club in Ireland.

Paula Francisco and Niall Sheils Donegan created some necessary separation for the International squad on Day 2 at the Arnold Palmer Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The stalemated international contest at Tralee Golf Links in Ireland was heading for another possible tie until Francisco’s late putt helped secure her and Donegan’s mixed foursomes match over Americans Avery Weed and William Jennings.

The rising senior at University of Florida put the International side up 18.5 to 17.5 over the U.S. heading into the final day of singles competition. It takes 30.5 points to win the Cup.

On the American side, Wheaton Ennis and Farah O’Keefe and Anna Davis and Cayden Pope earned points in their respective mixed foursomes contests to keep things even until Francisco’s putt.

The International team had gotten its edge earlier in the day in foursomes play where it went 6-5-1 over Team USA.

Final day play begins Sunday at 5 a.m. ET on GolfChannel.com and the Golf Channel mobile app.
