Aaron Rai took home his first European Tour title Sunday when he held onto a six-shot overnight lead to win the Hong Kong Open by one in a downpour.

But he took home our hearts when fellow Englishman Matt Wallace shared this tweet Friday:

“AED” is the currency of the United Arab Emirates, where Wallace finished second at the DP World Tour Championship last week and where Rai was 48th.

The amount borrowed, 200 dirham, converts to £42.46, or €48, or $54.45.

For his victory in Hong Kong, Rai walked away with €292,343, which comes out to £258,610.39, or $331,589.99, or 1,217,996.56د.إ.
