CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Geoff Ogilvy is only ‘mildly surprised’ that Tiger Woods missed the cut.
Ogilvy didn’t think Woods played well at the Masters, but says Quail Hollow is a sterner test than Augusta National.
‘You can’t hide on this golf course,’ Ogilvy says.
‘This is a harder course to play poor and get away with it, because it’s narrow off the tee and in the rough it’s hard and if you miss the greens in the wrong spots.
‘From the fairway you’re fine, but off the fairway you’re not.’
