GOTEMBA, Japan -- Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke had two eagles in a 7-under 65 on Friday to take the second-round lead in the Japan Golf Tour’s Taiheiyo Masters.
The European Ryder Cup star had a 13-under 131 total on theTaiheiyo Club course. Japan’s Shingo Katayama was two strokes back after a 65.
England’s Lee Westwood was six shots behind after a 69.
