CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand – Diana D’Alessio shot a 4-under 68 on Friday to take a one-stroke lead over Sarah Kemp in the Ladies European Tour’s season-opening New Zealand Women’s Open.
D’Alessio had a 9-under 135 total on the Pegasus Golf Club course.
Kemp shot a 67. Ashleigh Simon and Norway’s Marianne Skarpnord were both three strokes back at 6 under.
Lorie Kane was fifth at 5 under after a 66 – the round of the day.
