Monty blames etiquette issue for outburst in China

BEIJING ' Europes Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie says his latest outbursts at the China Open are a result of some peoples lack of understanding about golf etiquette.

While shooting a 1-over 73 during Fridays round, Montgomerie shouted at a photographer who was taking photos during his swing. He later told a TV cameraman in his line of sight to move, yelling dont film me as he searched for his ball.

Montgomerie told BBC Radio 5 on Saturday that China is an emerging nation golf-wise.

He says sometimes the Chinese, Koreans and Thais and emerging countries in the Far East tend not to understand or appreciate the etiquette of the game.
