PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The PGA Tour will be looking for a new title sponsor to keep its tournament at Innisbrook.

Transitions Optical has decided not to renew as the title sponsor when its four-year contract expires after the 2012 tournament, which is played in March during the Florida Swing.

Tour spokesman Ty Votaw says the Tour will be looking for another company to step in. He says the Tour has a good track record in the last three years replacing title sponsors and remains hopeful. Votaw says there already are discussions with potential sponsors.

He declined Tuesday to speculate on the future of the Tampa Bay area if another sponsor cannot be found, or if another event would move into that slot in March.

Tampa has had four title sponsors in the last 10 years.
