MELBOURNE, Australia (AP)—Tiger Woods has finished his first full practiceround at Kingston Heath for the Australian Masters, the shortest course he hasplayed this year and one that could prove to be a test.
Geoff Ogilvy , who grew up in Melbourne, said Wednesday that Woods will haveto think his way around Kingston Heath, which is a par 72 at only 7,059 yards.The course is firm and fast, framed beautifully by bunkers.
Woods says it’s a treat to play such courses.
Ogilvy says Woods will have to show “some of his best stuff” when theAustralian Masters gets started Thursday, but that the world’s No. 1 playerenjoys the challenge of old-style golf.
