HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced Friday the five finalists for the Jack Nicklaus Award, a group headlined by newly crowned Ben Hogan Award winner Patrick Rodgers.

Rodgers, a six-time winner this season, is the favorite for college’s Player of the Year award.

Other finalists include Georgia Tech’s Ollie Schniederjans, whose five wins this season are a school record; Alabama’s Robby Shelton and Bobby Wyatt; and Stanford’s Cameron Wilson.

The winner will be recognized June 1 during the final round of the Memorial.
