LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Ben Crane have joined defending champion Jason Dufner and Matt Kuchar on the bench after both players withdrew from the 96th PGA Championship on Friday.
Crane (first-round 74) withdrew with a back injury before teeing off for his second round, while Aphibarnrat (first-round 72) cited a knee injury and played just eight holes in Round 2 before bolting the property.
On Thursday, Dufner played 10 holes before withdrawing with a neck injury, and Kuchar didn’t tee off because of back spasms and was replaced in the field by John Huh.
