With one major in the books, the focus shifts to the upcoming U.S. Open at Erin Hills.
The sprawling course in Erin, Wisc., will host the season’s second major for the very first time. And while Dustin Johnson withdrew from the Masters because of an 11th-hour back injury, he’s favored to defend the title he won last year at Oakmont according to oddsmakers at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
Johnson was installed as an 8/1 favorite when odds were first published Monday, followed by 2011 U.S. Open champ Rory McIlroy and 2015 winner Jordan Spieth. Masters champ Sergio Garcia is listed at 25/1, behind fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm.
