Second-round play at the AT&T Byron Nelson was delayed three hours Friday morning after 4 1/2 inches of overnight rains left an already saturated TPC Four Seasons golf course flooded.
The day’s first tee time, originally scheduled for 7 a.m. CT, was been pushed back to 10 a.m., as gounds crews worked to make the course playable.

Shortly before resumption of play, the PGA Tour announced that the par-4 14th hole, listed on the scorecard at 406 yards, will play just 100 yards in the second round because of water in the fairway.
The Tour encounter similar issues with flooding last week at Colonial Country Club, with weather casuing multiple delays and stoppages.
Tour officials even took the unusual step to play lift, clean and place through the green in Sunday’s final round.
The state of Texas is dealing with record rainfall in the month of May, with even more expected. Per a Friday morning report from NBCNews.com, rescue crews have already pulled more than 100 people from rushing floodwaters, while 23 people have died across Texas and Oklahoma since last weekend.
