CROMWELL, Conn. – After being bothered by a balky back during the final round of the U.S. Open, Brandt Snedeker believes he’s ready to go for this week’s Travelers Championship.

“I’m feeling good, actually,” he reported. “A couple of days of treatment and some MRIs. They came back fine.”

Snedeker said he was undergoing back spasms, which forced him to remain home for an extra day before coming to the tournament for Wednesday’s pro-am.

“It just locked up on me, but now it feels good,” he added. “No issues.”
