Kevin Streelman cashed in on his best form of the season last week with a remarkable one-shot victory at the Travelers Championship. Entering the week, he had missed his last four cuts and failed to record a top-10 finish in a full-field event in 2013-14.

Nonetheless, Streelman shot a back-nine 28 on Sunday to win at TPC River Highlands, and as a result he ascended from No. 58 to No. 36 in the world – where he began this season after a T-3 finish at the Tournament of Champions.

K.J. Choi, who shared second with Sergio Garcia, jumped from No. 86 to No. 66, while Garcia didn’t move from his No. 8 spot.

Meanwhile, Mikko Ilonen, earned his fourth career European Tour title at the Irish Open, nearly cracked the top 50 in the world after his narrow victory at Fota Island Resort. The 34-year-old moved from No. 63 to No. 51.

There was only slight movement in the top 10, as Matt Kuchar leapfrogged an idle Tiger Woods to take over the No. 4 spot. Jason Day (now No. 6) and Rory McIlroy also swapped positions.
