Trump’s name restored to golf complex in Dubai

Donald Trump’s name and image have been restored to parts of the $6 billion golf complex in Dubai, just four days after they were removed.

The Associated Press reported Thursday that a sign bearing Trump’s name and billboard featuring Trump and daughter Ivanka had been taken down, which fueled speculation that Damac Properties was considering parting ways with the presidential hopeful following his anti-Muslim remarks last week.

Damac declined to comment on the brief removal Sunday when reached by Sky News. The National newspaper suggested that the signs may have been restored because of contractual obligations.

Last week, in the wake of the deadly shootings in California, Trump called for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the U.S.”
