The USGA on Monday announced the 12 sectional qualifying sites for this year’s U.S. Open.
Ten 36-hole sectional qualifiers will be held June 2 in the United States. Japan (Nara International Golf Club) and England (Walton Heath Golf Club) will host international qualifying on May 26.
To be eligible for qualifying, a player must have a handicap index of no more than 1.4, or be a professional. Local qualifying will be held May 2-9 at 111 sites in the U.S.
