Video: Spieth holes wedge to end round at Oakmont

Jordan Spieth may still be getting sympathy from ladies in grocery stores over his Masters collapse, but his game looks like it’s bounced back just fine.

Other than on the epic Bro-hamas trip he took with Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and Smylie Kaufman, we haven’t seen any golf from Spieth since that fateful Sunday in early April. Until Tuesday.

The 22-year-old played a practice round at Oakmont where he will return as U.S. Open defending champion next month, and from the looks of a video tweeted out by Tim Rosaforte, it ended about as well as any round could end, with a hole out on the 18th hole.

This is how @JordanSpieth 9-hole practice round ended at 18th green in near dark at Oakmont! More @GCMorningDrive pic.twitter.com/MIsrfMHYy1 — Tim Rosaforte (@TimRosaforte) May 4, 2016

Will Spieth be able to recreate that magic with the year’s next major on the line? Only time will tell.
