Watch: DeChambeau drains side-saddle putts

Bryson DeChambeau employed the side-saddle method of putting during Round 1 of the Franklin Templeton Shootout, where he partnered with Lexi Thompson, and had some success.

Here’s a look at his birdie putt on the first hole:

DeChambeau and Thompson, who made an eagle (in the video below), shot 10-under 62 in the scramble format and trail leaders Jerry Kelly and Steve Stricker (56) by six.
