Will McGirt on Thursday rallied back from a opening bogey with a little short game magic.

Last year’s Memorial champ cozied up a chip for a tap-in birdie at No. 2 and then let the wild slope of the green do his work for him at No. 4:

McGirt, who started the day four back in solo second, made the turn in 1-under 35.
