Brandt Snedeker tried to do the prudent thing, just pitch out into the fairway following a poor drive at the par-4 ninth in Round 3 of The Open.
He just didn’t account for his club getting caught up in the fescue and the TV tower in front of him. Nice clang.
Oh, well. He still managed to make par.
