With the pressures of defending his title at the Masters behind him, Bubba Watson seems to be embracing the lighter side of golf this week in China.
Watson is the only player who made the lengthy trip from Augusta to the inaugural Shenzhen International, a European Tour event. The world No. 4 opened with a 2-under 70 at Genzon Golf Club and trails leader Wen-yi Huang by four shots.
Perhaps still fighting off jet lag, Watson headed to the “B Course” at Genzon hours after his round concluded, a layout that is apparently lined with floodlights to facilitate play at all hours. He tweeted two videos of himself hitting shots into greens, along with some pre-shot commentary:
