ADAM UNDER FIRE: IT’S GETTING SCOTT IN HERE
Dec. 10, 2008: Scott’s dramatic withdrawal on the eve of the Australian Open is a huge blow, although the world No. 16 has been troubled by a succession of injuries this year, including a knee problem which forced him to withdraw from the last week’s Australian PGA.
His absence means he has now missed consecutive Opens ' he skipped last year’s event to be best man at the wedding of a close friend ' and has prompted questions over his commitment to playing in this country.
