Greg Allen, considered one of the outstanding collegiate golf coaches in the NCAA, was named Vanderbilt’s head women’s coach in July, 2007. Allen came to Vanderbilt after a seven-year tenure as head coach at the University of Arizona, where he twice won the Pac-10 Conference, finished as NCAA runner-up in 2002 and coached nine All-Americans, including Lorena Ochoa.

Allens take: Not only is it home to the Commodores, but it has a special place in my heart as the place where Lorena Ochoa claimed her first LPGA Tour victory.
