Elder OHair Attacks Critics

Marc OHair, the much-maligned father of PGA Tour player Sean OHair, responded to his many critics Friday in a 17-page fax to The Golf Channel.

In the document, OHair defended his approach to raising Sean and criticized his attackers. (See full document)

He also produced a pair of contracts signed by him and his son, in which the younger OHair was obligated to give his father 10 percent of his earnings as a professional golfer.

OHair sent a fax to The Golf Channel and other media outlets Wednesday releasing his son from those contracts.

In his latest diatribe, OHair discussed a variety of topics relating to his relationship with his son, ranging from Seans education to a possible future between the two.

Their past has been well documented; though, Marc disputes the validity of previous reports.

Sean, who hasnt spoken with his father since his wedding in December 2002, has earned nearly $1.8 million in his rookie season on the PGA Tour, including a victory in the John Deere Classic.
