Retief Goosen has withdrawn from The International after an accident involving a personal watercraft. Goosen suffered the accident while on vacation last week.
Goosen injured his hip while riding the vehicle. The South African also could miss the PGA Championship next week at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.
Goosen was this years U.S. Open champion and also won the U.S. Open in 2001. He was the third-highest ranked player in the field after Ernie Els and defending champion Davis Love III.
