Louise Stahle of Sweden defeated Anna Highgate 4 and 2 in the Ladies British Amateur Championship to become the first woman from her country to claim the title.
Stahle, from Barseback, Sweden, will attend Arizona State University this fall on a golf scholarship. The 19-year-old beat Englands Sophie Walker 3 and 2 in the semifinals.
Highgate outlasted defending champion Elisa Serramia of Spain in 20-holes in the other semifianl match.
