“Shag Bag” got a peak at a partial draft of the 2011 PGA Tour schedule that was recently sent to players. No big surprises, with the winners-only SBS Championship kicking off the season in Hawaii Jan. 6-9 followed by the West Coast swing.
The Waste Management Open, which was moved to the last week of February this year, has moved back to the first week of February and the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles slid back to the third week of the month.
The Honda Classic kicks off the Florida swing the first week of March and the Arnold Palmer Invitational remains the Sunshine State anchor followed by the Houston Open the week before the Masters.
Although the draft only runs through Augusta National the Tour acknowledged earlier this year that the Texas Open will follow the year’s first major and the Heritage at Harbour Town will slide back a week.
