BETHESDA, Md. – It’s now tradition at an event that is slowly building some good ones. The normal pin flags at Congressional are replaced with American flags on the Fourth of July at the AT&T National.
As a result, caddies were warned in a notice in the locker room to take special care while they are on the greens.
“Please be sure the American flag does not touch the ground,” the notice read, a reminder, we can only assume, for the international members of the looping corps.
