FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Kudos to the U.S. Golf Association for putting Bandon Dunes back in the national championship rota.
The 2011 Men’s and Women’s Amateur Public Links will be played on a pair of the Pacific Northwest resort’s gems.
It’s a shame a larger event can’t be held at Bandon, but as a member of the resort’s staff once said when asked the difference between St. Andrews, Scotland, and Bandon: ‘It’s easier to get to St. Andrews.’
