Bill Haas, one of U.S. Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples’ two wildcard picks, will have a familiar face on his bag at this week’s Australian Open and next week’s matches at Royal Melbourne.
Billy Harmon, the legendary swing coach, will be on Haas’ bag for the Australian fortnight while his normal caddie, his brother Jay Jr., will remain in the United States for the birth of his first child.
Haas’ manager, Allen Hobbs with Players Group, confirmed the move on Monday. Harmon also works with Jay Haas, one of Couples’ assistant captains.
