Tom Brady and Bill Belichick’s schedules opened up the minute the New England Patriots lost in the AFC Championship.

It was no surprise, then, that the quarterback and coach were among the early commitments for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, which begins next Thursday.

Last week, when Belichick met for his end-of-season news conference, he told reporters (via NESN), “Look, I’ll be OK. I’ll take all my frustrations out at Pebble Beach – see if I can hit the ball over the water instead of into it for a change.”

Brady and Belichick have been regulars at the event in the past – assuming they’re not too dinged up, physically and emotionally, from the Super Bowl.

This year, Brady will be joined by fellow signal-callers Aaron Rodgers (Packers) and Alex Smith (Chiefs), while Belichick will be able to compare notes with Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly.
