Lexi Thompson won the Navistar LPGA Classic Sunday by a five-shot margin, but at 16 years old, is too young to meet the minimum age requirement – 18 – for membership onto the tour. LPGA commissioner Mike Whan had already granted Thompson special permission to go to Q-School this year in pursuit of membership, but with the win, technically, she should be able to immediately claim membership onto the LPGA.

Mike Whan was willing to adjust the rules once, should he do so again?
