SAN DIEGO – Jason Day’s offseason was a bit more relaxing than some of his PGA Tour brethren.
The Australian was married in Ohio on Oct. 3 and didn’t punch a timecard again until the Sony Open in Hawaii. In between, Day and new wife, Ellie, began hunting for a “starter home” in Ohio.
“We’re looking to get away from everything,” said Day, who currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
Day said he’s looking for a house with some land, “Something like 65 acres. I’m going to be a farmer,” he smiled.
