JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Now in its seventh year in existence, the FedEx Cup Playoffs have grown on Tiger Woods.

“Yeah, it has, but it’s obviously changed its shape,” Woods said of the format which was first implemented in 2007. “I think the first couple years when Vijay [Singh] and I won it, we didn’t really have to play the Tour Championship. That’s obviously been changed and altered.

“The way the points are structured, as I said, you’re just playing for positioning in the top-five. [That] will win the whole thing.”

Woods has won the whole thing twice, in 2007 and ’09.
