Frost delays World Challenge tee times for second straight day

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Another day, another delay.

For a second straight day, tee times at the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge have been pushed back one hour due to frost on the course.

The first twosome of the day – Jason Day and Jordan Spieth – will now start at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Tournament host Tiger Woods will tee off with Graeme McDowell at 2:36 p.m. Zach Johnson, who leads after a 5-under 67, will pair with Matt Kuchar in the final group at 2:58.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-50s on Friday. Heavy rain is in the forecast for Saturday’s third round.
