BETHESDA, Md. – As reported in this space last week, the four players on the Tour policy board deferred judgment on implementation of the new grooves rule. Instead commissioner Tim Finchem ruled the circuit would adopt the new rules beginning in 2010.
Finchem said Tuesday’s meeting included a ‘full’ discussion of the issue. Stay tuned.
